Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and FKK Enterprises LLC ("we," "us"), covering the Gratitude First mobile app, the web app, and getgratitudefirst.com. By installing or using Gratitude First, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Gratitude First does

Gratitude First lets you choose apps on your device to put behind a short pause. When you open one of those apps, Gratitude First asks you to write one thing you're grateful for, and then lets you through.

It is a habit and mindfulness tool. It is not a security product, a parental control service, or a medical or mental health treatment, and it should not be relied on as any of those.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old to use Gratitude First. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account and your entries

Your gratitude entries belong to you. We don't claim ownership of anything you write. You're responsible for the content you enter and for keeping your device secure.

Subscriptions and payment

Gratitude First offers a premium subscription on a monthly or annual basis, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Current pricing is shown in the app before you buy.

Free trial. The annual plan may include a free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription automatically.
Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
Cancelling. Purchases made through Google Play are managed in your Google Play account, and purchases made on the web are managed through the link in your receipt or in the app.
Refunds. Purchases made through an app store follow that store's refund policy. For web purchases, contact us at the address below.

What we ask of you

Please don't reverse engineer the app, resell or redistribute it, use it to break the law, or interfere with how it works for other people.

Changes to the app

We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may stop offering the app. If we discontinue a paid service you've already paid for, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know.

Availability and disclaimers

Gratitude First is provided "as is." We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that it will successfully block every app on every device — operating systems change, and device manufacturers handle background apps differently. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Gratitude First after an update means you accept the new terms.
