Open Gratitude First and make sure Screen Time access is on, then check that the app you're opening is in your guarded list. You can also check in Settings → Screen Time that Gratitude First is allowed. If you turned access off, the app will ask for it again.
Gratitude First needs Usage access and Display over other apps. Open the app; it shows which one is missing and takes you to the right setting. Some phones also stop apps running in the background, so allow Gratitude First to run unrestricted in your battery settings.
Each gratitude entry opens your guarded apps for one timed session. By default that's 8 sessions a day, 10 minutes each. When the session ends, the apps lock again, even if Gratitude First is closed. Premium lets you choose how many sessions you get per day, week or month and how long each lasts.

Your entries, photos and voice notes stay on your device. We can't see them, so we can't recover them for you. To keep a copy, use Save a copy in Settings (Premium). Deleting the app deletes everything it stored on your device.
